About the Play
A single mom’s life is turned upside down by her child’s chronic illness. Abandoned by her husband, she faces reality with a sunny determination that borders on denial. A story of a mother’s unbounded love and the makeshift circle of women who support her, Mary Jane is a beautiful testament to endurance and human kindness in the face of tragedy.
The New York Times calls Mary Jane “the most profound and harrowing of all Amy Herzog plays…a character study and everywoman story.”
Run Time
Mary Jane is expected to run approximately 95 minutes, with no intermission.

Single Tickets
Single tickets are on sale now through the Dairy Arts Center.
Single tickets for the Friday-Sunday performances are $42.00. Tickets for the Preview on May 1, 2026 are $25.00.
Students can get $15.00 tickets and must show a valid student ID at the theatre.
Purchased tickets will be emailed to you from the Dairy Arts Center and copies can be found on your Dairy Arts Center account.
