ReFUND COLORADO
In 2019, Colorado returned more than $1 Billion in refunds to 1.9 million state taxpayers. This is huge! With the new ReFUND Colorado program, Coloradans who receive a state income tax refund can donate some or all of their refunds to a local nonprofit they love… like BETC.
Gift of Stock
If you gift securities, you can also benefit tax-wise. That said, stock is a fabulous outright gift.
Bequests and Beneficiary Designations
A revocable bequest made in your will or trust enables you to make a legacy gift to what you love. Designating a non-profit as a beneficiary does the same, plus it offers tax advantages that are nothing to sneeze at.
Shop at King Soopers
You can help BETC receive King Soopers Community Rewards. Last year, King Soopers/City Market set up a $10 million Community Rewards Program. At no cost to you, every time you shop or buy gas at King Soopers, they will donate to BETC. We hope you will register with King Soopers to help us to continue to bring you incredible stories told by our amazing artists.
Donor Advised Funds
DAF, for short — are handled by a foundation or financial institution. You can time your contributions to your DAF to maximize your tax benefits AND have the flexibility to recommend grants to your favorite non-profits.
Qualified IRA Distribution
If you’ve celebrated your 73rd birthday, you can ask your IRA manager to send your required IRA distributions to non-profits you love. (This means you needn’t claim the distribution as income, so you save on taxes!)
Corporate Sponsorship
When your business gives a sponsorship, you make an impact, forge connections, and get your name out in the world in new ways.
