Debbie Carosella is a leader in driving and advancing the growth agenda for packaged goods companies. Her general management orientation is combined with core expertise in business strategy, customer and consumer strategy, marketing, brand development, and innovation.
Debbie currently is an advisor for a mid-cap PE group, primarily advising on better-for-you, food, and CPG potential investments. Additionally, Debbie advises multiple natural and organic companies in a broad range of business initiatives. She has served as interim CEO for a PE-backed organic food company and as an ongoing executive leadership team member for another better-for-you company. She has supported numerous CEOs to develop their strategic growth plans, including creating management practices and processes to drive alignment around prioritized business objectives, defined the organizational design, and key talent recruitment. She has developed brand positioning and innovation pipelines while she coaches existing, less experienced team members of various companies.
Debbie serves as a Director on one publicly traded board and an ESOP board. She has served as Compensation Committee Chair, on nom/gov and special committees.
Debbie is an active member of the communities she has lived in. She has served on numerous non-profit boards, providing strategic planning and marketing expertise. Most recently in Boulder, she is currently a Member of the BETC (Boulder Ensemble Theatre) board, she has served on the Growing Gardens, Family Learning Center and Wildland Restoration Volunteer boards, and she has done extensive branding and positioning work for the Colorado Music Festival. She was active in the Women’s Leadership Council at CU, mentoring students and providing internship opportunities to help launch the leaders of tomorrow, and she continues mentoring individuals, primarily in the natural and organic food industry.
