Candace is a director, actor, and audiobook narrator. At BETC, she directed JQA and Dorothy’s Dictionary, and assistant directed Tiny Beautiful Things. Other directing credits include Good People (Ouray’s UpstART Theatre), The Real Inspector Hound (University of Colorado), Double Gothic (University of Central Missouri), as well as assistant directing Misery (Miners Alley Playhouse) and Hamlet (Denver Center for the Performing Arts).

Onstage, Candace has performed with BETC, Curious Theatre, The Catamounts, Miners Alley Playhouse, and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, among others. Favorite roles include Michelle in Amerikin, Eddie Van Halen in Eddie and Dave, Gloria and Nan in Gloria, Siobhan in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Portia in District Merchants (Henry Award nominee, Best Actress), Mother in The Oldest Boy, and Abby in Belleville. A seasoned Shakespearean actor, her roles include Malcolm, Olivia, Celia, Emilia, Perdita, Helena, Thaisa, and Bawd.
